The 10kV composite long rod insulator is designed to suspend conductors, withstand mechanical loads and provide reliable electrical insulation in overhead distribution systems. Wishpower manufactures the insulator with a high-strength fiberglass core rod, silicone rubber housing and corrosion-resistant end fittings. Its lightweight structure, pollution resistance and weathering performance make it suitable for new 10kV lines, distribution network upgrades and the replacement of conventional porcelain or glass insulators.

1. Product Overview

The Wishpower 10kV composite long rod insulator combines the load-bearing core, external insulation housing and metal end fittings into an integrated structure. It is developed for outdoor overhead lines where stable electrical insulation and mechanical strength are required under changing environmental conditions.

Compared with traditional porcelain and glass insulators, it offers the following advantages:

3. Product Structure

1. Fiberglass Core Rod
   The high-strength fiberglass-reinforced epoxy rod is the main load-bearing component and provides tensile and mechanical strength.

2. Silicone Rubber Housing
   The external housing protects the core rod and provides electrical insulation, hydrophobicity, tracking resistance and weathering resistance.

3. Insulating Sheds
   Equal-diameter or alternating shed profiles increase the creepage distance and improve performance in rain and polluted environments.

4. Metal End Fittings
   The end fittings connect the insulator to line hardware and tower structures. Ball, socket, eye, clevis and customized configurations are available.

5. End Sealing System
   The sealed interface between the core rod and metal fittings reduces the risk of moisture and contaminant ingress.

6. Optional Protective Accessories
   Grading rings, arcing devices and other protection accessories can be supplied according to the line design.
