Product Structure

1. Insulating Core Rod

2. Silicone Rubber Housing and Sheds
   High-temperature vulcanized silicone rubber forms the external insulation and increases the creepage distance through a carefully designed shed profile.

3. Metal End Fittings
   Upper and lower metal flanges connect the insulator to busbars, disconnectors, equipment terminals and supporting structures.

4. Core-to-Fitting Connection
   A controlled mechanical crimping or equivalent connection process provides a secure bond between the fiberglass core and metal fittings.

5. Sealing System
   Sealed transition areas help prevent moisture, dust and corrosive contaminants from entering the internal interfaces.

6. Electric Field Control Components
   Grading rings or field-control devices can be supplied when required to improve electric field distribution near the energized end.
